About Nordica
Health Clinic
Our vision is to be the Sunshine Coast’s most trusted exercise physiology community, where people living with bone, neuro, and pain conditions stay stronger and more independent for longer through evidence-based care and genuine connection.
It has been 3 years since I started attending Nordica classes for the sole purpose of increasing my bone density. I have not only achieved that but have experienced many other benefits (muscle and strength) which have contributed to my overall physical health and mental well-being. I cannot recommend Jess highly enough. She is incredibly supportive, encouraging and knowledgeable in her field and provides individual attention to each members specific needs. The environment that Jess has created is very welcoming and I feel a part of a ‘family’ at Nordica.

Jessica Ebbersten
Accredited Exercise Physiologist & Clinic Director
Jess takes an honest, collaborative, and evidence-informed approach, with a focus on safety, clarity, and sustainable movement. She works alongside clients to build confidence, trust in the body, and long-term independence.
Her current focus includes complex and often invisible conditions affecting the nervous system and overall health, including persistent and recurrent pain, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, dysautonomia, and mental health conditions. She also contributes behind the scenes, supporting the development of clinic systems, processes, services, and team collaboration.
Jess has extensive experience in osteoporosis management and is Onero™ trained, with additional training in persistent pain, neurological conditions (including PD Warrior®), and cancer rehabilitation. She is also an accredited Nordic Walking Instructor.
Alongside her clinic work, Jessica works within the hospital setting across orthopaedic, cancer, cardiac, neurological, mental health, and persistent pain rehabilitation services.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her 5-year-old daughter, being in nature, and staying active.

Bailey McIntosh
Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Bailey brings a calm, honest, and approachable style to his work. He connects easily with people and creates an environment where clients feel comfortable, supported, and understood. He has a genuine interest in people and is committed to helping them progress in ways that are practical, safe, and meaningful.
His current focus is applying evidence-based strength and conditioning principles to support people with osteoporosis and healthy ageing. Bailey is particularly interested in real-world strength development, using appropriately loaded, well-structured training to build resilience, confidence, and long-term capacity, rather than relying on overly cautious or ineffective approaches. He also has special interest and experience working with people living with cardiovascular disease and neurological presentations such as cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s disease, and stroke, using exercise prescription to increase/manage independence, function, and quality of life.
Bailey has completed training in osteoporosis management and is Onero™ trained, with additional experience in strength and conditioning.
Alongside his clinic work, Bailey also works within a strength and conditioning gym, supporting performance-focused and general population training. He also works with individuals financially funded by DVA, NDIS, Workcover, and Medicare programs.
Outside of work, Bailey enjoys strength training, playing touch football, hiking, and relaxing at the beach with a nice cup of coffee.
