Clinical Support for
Neurological Disorders
Neuro presentations can vary widely, even when people share the same diagnosis. We focus on understanding the individual in front of us and tailoring support to what is safe, appropriate, and meaningful for them.
Neurodegenerative Presentations
Helping those with Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, Huntington’s disease and Motor Neurone Disease.
Neurodegenerative conditions involve progressive changes within the nervous system that may affect mobility, balance, coordination, strength, endurance, and daily function. The way these changes present and how quickly they progress varies greatly between individuals.
How We Help
Exercise plays an important role in maintaining physical function, supporting independence, and improving quality of life. Our programs focus on strength, balance, posture, gait, and functional movement, while carefully considering fatigue, symptom variability, and disease stage. As needs and goals change, we adapt your program to continue supporting safety, confidence, and participation in daily life.
Our aim is to help you stay active, capable, and engaged for as long as possible, in a way that feels supportive, meaningful and achievable.
Neurodevelopmental Presentations
Helping those with Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism & other neurodiverse conditions.
Neurodevelopmental conditions influence how the brain develops and how a person experiences movement, sensory input, communication, and the world around them. Each individual has their own strengths, preferences, and support needs.
How We Help
At Nordica Health, we offer supportive, strengths-based exercise programs that build physical capacity, coordination, balance, and confidence. Sessions are adapted to suit sensory preferences, communication styles, attention, and emotional regulation needs. We prioritise predictability, safety, and positive movement experiences to support long-term engagement.
Our focus is on supporting meaningful participation in movement and daily life, fostering independence, inclusion, and confidence across the lifespan.
Acquired Conditions to Presentations
Helping this who have suffer Stroke and/or a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
Acquired neurological conditions result from injury or interruption to the brain and can lead to changes in strength, coordination, balance, endurance, cognition, and confidence. Recovery is highly individual and can continue well beyond the early rehabilitation phase.
How We Help
We support people at all stages of recovery, focusing on restoring function, rebuilding strength, improving balance and mobility, and increasing confidence in everyday movement. Programs are progressive, goal-directed, and paced to support both physical and cognitive recovery.
We work collaboratively with rehabilitation teams, families, and carers to ensure care is consistent, meaningful, and aligned with your broader health journey.

"Help us to remain energetic, active and strong"
We have been members of Nordica Health for 6 years now and plan to participate there for the rest of our lives, as the professionally supervised exercises help us to remain energetic, active and strong into our old age. We love having Christie as our exercise physiology trainer. She is always positive, cheerful and careful to keep us safe by observing our exercise techniques and diligent in correcting us when necessary.

"I am healthier, happier and stronger"
The Nordica Health team has helped me to successfully improve my bone density, where in 2016 my bone density was assessed to be in the red zone (high risk of fracture and injury). My bone density has since improved being recorded in the yellow zone in 2018. The Nordica Health’s well-rounded program and guidance has greatly helped me to achieve my goals. I am healthier, happier and stronger. The companionship of ‘like-minded’ ladies also makes for a very enjoyable experience. Thank you.
